Hot Peas and Butter Show Dec 19th

I was on my way to the Hot Peas and Butter rehearsal last night and walked past Madison Square Garden. I was reminded of the last concert I saw here…Elton John. I always thought that Captain Fantastic could have used a shakuhachi.
The rehearsal took place at the Ultra Sound Studio on W30th. My first time there. I must say they are really well equipt. My view point.

Mics can sometimes be a little intimidating.
Anyways, I’m only playing shakuhachi on Nabiya, a Latin pop song about a beautiful butterfly flying high. It’s accompanied by a ribbon dance performed by my partner. This is a wonderful all ages music show, perfect for the holidays. Here’s the info see you there!
