Busy Month on Repairs

Hi All, Things are always a bit hectic around here in the shakuhachi workshop because of my performance schedule but this winter has been especially busy. There has been a record number of repairs on cracks. It seems that that's all I've been doing in between performances these past two months. There has also been a few repairs due to missing utaguchi inlays. That's also a result of the bamboo expanding due to dryness. Please keep your flutes lightly humidified and stored in an AIRTIGHT container.

There was a recent crash on my server and I lost a bunch of emails to my blog. If you commented on an entry in the past two months, please resend. I enjoy reading all your comments.

On another note, I'm on the road once a week or moew so if you don't get a response to your email right away, rest assured that you will in a day or two. Thanks for your patience.

Namaste, Perry
