Newly finished Earth Model flute made from Chinese Madake Bamboo harvested in 2002. A smooth playing natural bore flute with the upgrades of an Kinko Style Utaguchi blowing edge inlay made from Water Buffalo Horn and American Lacquer in the bore.
This is a very responsive and lively instrument perfect for those with smaller hands. It is able to play in A + 440hz so any experienced player would be able to play with fixed-pitched instruments such as a piano. Earth Models can play a variety of music but the natural bore lends itself more to meditative playing rather than fast melodic music that jumps between octaves.
