Newly made 2.2 natural bore non root shakuhachi bamboo flute.
26” Length X 11/4” Diameter pitched in B at A = 440hz. Smooth player for the beginner. This type of flute can play a variety of music but intended for meditative solo playing. It is made from a solid and dense piece of Chinese Timber bamboo that was dyed a reddish orange hue. It was hand rubbed for an antique look. This is a smooth responsive flute with a robust and lively tone.
