2.7 CHIKUSING Model wide bore bass shakuhachi. Made from Chinese Madake harvested specially for me in 2002. Pitch in G.
Kinya Sogawa style Japanese water buffalo horn utaguchi inlay. Authentic Shuai urushi lacquer. Urushi stained root. The bamboo was cured in my shop under normal conditions before it was made into an instrument. Chikusing models are essentially jinashi style natural bore flute with my Spot Tuning Method for enhanced response, resonance. This is a dynamic flute with a wide range of tonal expression for the experienced player of long flutes. It is also the perfect flute ot play solo into the night.
