A 3.0 Chikusing Model bass shakuhachi. It s 32” long and requires the player to be of a taller stature. Quite smooth and energetic for this length.
The bore is close to proper aspect so it handles melodic playing faster then wide bore models. Pitched in F. The #4 and #2 finger holes are near nodes so the price is reduced for this quality of instrument. It is a fine player perfectly in tune through out both octaves and can handle all the advanced fingerings for Dokyoku Honkyoku music and a variety of other music.
