1.7 Tensei Old Monk’s Shakuhachi
This flute has been clean and restored. It has been thoroughly evaluated and is found in fine playing condition. There is a slightly chipped and customized utaguchi that works fine so I have decided to leave it as is in my low impact approach to refurbishing. Around 100 years old more or less. Original Water Buffalo Horn inlay, Red urushi in bore. Chi #3 slightly sharp. #4 slight flat. Any player can meri and Kari easily to play in tune.
